All services are provided by Mandy Medina, licensed PharmD with the state of California. Mandy graduated with her doctorate from the Daniel K Inouye College of Pharmacy at the University of Hawaii at Hilo in 2011. Over the last decade, she has practiced pharmacy with major retailers in Hawaii and California.

Device Counseling

We will train you in the proper use of your medical devices, including glucose and blood pressure monitoring machines, inhaler techniques, and more. We’ll also teach you to monitor, log and interpret readings.

Medication Therapy Management

Comprehensive Medication Review includes a thorough and comprehensive review of your prescriptions, over-the-counter medications, and herbal supplements, and provides a personal medication record and action plan. This is an annual service that’s covered by most Medicare plans and many private insurance carriers. 

Targeted Medication Reviews

After the initial comprehensive review, follow-up appointments focus on potential or specific medication-related problems, assessment of medication use, monitoring of any unresolved medications, and addressing any new medication therapy issues. There may be several follow-up appointments throughout the year depending on the complexity of the medication list and/or medication issues.

Educational Resources

We provide educational sessions for most chronic conditions, including lifestyle modification to help improve your condition, improve medication adherence, and reduce medication load.
